MSD Dress 2

A better view of the dress. Her hairband- lace was removed from the longer layer of skirt-lace, since I didn't like how it looked on the skirt and I wanted to reuse it somehow. It's not on here, but I usually fold a little doily in half to use as a shawl. It covers the kind of badly made sleeves and collar and makes it look like she has cute, conical sleeves. I'm a pretty poor seamstress, so the whole thing was kind of improvised. I didn't even make a pattern, really, which I'm regretting since it actually came out okay.
The lesson to be learned here is that if you put enough lace and ruffles on it, you can kind of hide poor design/construction.
